DISCLAIMER: I use a particular word in this blog that some might find offencive. Please understand that im using it in the context of the song meaning strange. this is not to say that homosexuality is strange but as a child it was seen as degradding to be called it. i would never belittle someone for there sexual oreintation. I was called it many times when i was younger completely understand the weight of said word.

also im not jon davis or korn this is all therey and speculation in my constently humming brain. i like korn from self tittled to issues. i will do a propper restrospect.ok with that lets begin.

My first CD (people still remember CD’s right?) was a Korn album.  In fact, it was their debut self-titled album. I remember as a kid listening to it constantly, and at that time, as narrow of an understanding I had on music, I idolized it as pure awesome.

My home life at the time was radically changin   and there was a lot of turmoil. I’m not saying that I had it rough but just felt to me very chaotic. Read my other post the tide of growing mind if you want to know more about my childhood. I was also changing schools frequently, making it nearly impossible to make friends. I felt a connection korns sound. the feelings of the ostracization and strength in anger the fear of loneliness. I was a "faggot" surrounded by judgmental bullies conforming to picking on the loner. I do still stand by the album as a decent album, although I don’t feel it relates to me today.  i did buy all up till issues which i actually think is a great cd maybe there best but thats an opinion like most of this

                Since then I've changed and so has Korn in concept and bandmates. While I think there has been a sprinkling of decent songs, for the most part they fell short for me. The singing has lost its unique sound in what seems like an attempt from Jon Davis to prove to the world he's a “good” singer. The sound has lost all semblance of its life-crushing shame turning to uninhibited hate, turning to a sound that is either trying to preach pseudo-science or explain how much better Jonathan Davis is than us. If Jonathan Davis got over his issues that would be awesome, but he essentially “bullies” people through his words. "Oildale" off their more recent album, to me, seems like a direct response to his critics and is a good example of this 'you suck. I'm the best, so fuck off' attitude.

i realize this is notable in all albums but when i was listening it felt more like servival now it just seams arrogant and frankly alot like bullying.

Fever tangent!!!: leave me alone! go away! get away! you just go away! its going away! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE! we get it jon you dont like crowds. one of these fraises should be one all there posters its one of many brain bashing cleches in Korns music. i figure theres an ally cat living in there recording studio that likes to rest on the sound board and everytime jon sees it hes all
"get the FUCK AWAY from me CAAAAT!!!!"

Oh and don’t even get me started talking about the Skrillex/Korn attempt to make the sound of a Fucking ban saw left on, a music genre called dub step. We all know what the 'dub' stands for in that ”genre”. Seriously where are you getting the money to buy the gigantic quantities of high grade to convince your drooling brain that this is music. Dub step is music without the 'soul'. This stuff smashes through EMF's unbelievable and bashes head first into CMC music company in its no-content content. Korn is just desperately looking for a new fan base that hasn’t turned on them. This is completey transparent when the album directly before it was Korn's self-claimed return to true form. Listen up old Korn fans John isnt like you anymore. Hes a victum turned bully just like name callers in his songs.

Jon, we need to talk. We need to let this end. It's time. dont yell jon please. you know you havent been able to pull that off in a long time now.

 We had a lot of great times at first, but we were kids then. We’ve changed. You've changed. We both aren’t invested in it anymore. We'll still remember the good times, after all you were my first. And to be honest there's someone else who’s giving me more than you could ever do for me. I mean look at you. You’ve changed so much I don’t even recognize you anymore. It's obvious you’ve been looking for other things too. While I don’t agree with your new perversions I must let you go to make your own path.

 I'll leave you alone.
